Hanover-Langenhagen Airport (IATA: HAJ, ICAO: EDDV), in German Flughafen Hannover-Langenhagen, is the main international airport of Hannover and Lower Saxony region. It is located in Langenhagen, at 11 kilometers north of Hannover downtown, serving as a base for the following carriers: Condor, Germanwings, SunExpress and TUIfly.

About the name: The General Aviation Terminal was named after Karl Jatho, a local aviation pioneer.

About Hanover

Hanover, in German Hannover, is the main city of the Lower Saxony state in Germany. The city hosts the Oktoberfest Hannover, which is the second large festival of its kind in the country.
